I wrote this last Nov 19 2005. I think i posted it on my friendster blog... but il post it again here... I just want to reminisce! :) hahaha



Last Nov 18 2005, I watched MYMP concert ( mah 1st time to see them live). The show starts an hour late… 9pm to be exact. All lights turn off, the crowd screams. The intro of “Tell Me Where It Hurts” was played;Chin first came out followed by Juris and she start to sing “Waiting In Vain”. She was nervous! It was followed by “Get Me” with their MTV at the background. Medyo nervous pa din cya, making her voice low at parang kinakapos… After that, she explains the next song heto daw yung nagpakilala sa kanila… “A Little Bit”, people also participate in their song. Juris said na Sho-shock daw cya! After that, she sang “Kailan” and “Sa Kanya” It was a beautiful rendition. A medley of Songs followed such as “Pagdating ng Panahon, Moonlight Over Paris, Nasaan Ka na? and Let Me be the One”, this time Chin participated (vocal). After this, their guest appeared “Southborder”, Jay Durias was on the keyboard with the two other vocalists, and they sang “Let’s stay Together”. Jay Played the Theme song of Darna, and Juris sang on her own version. After that relaxing number, southborder sang “Ikaw Nga” Juris again appeared with her new outfit and they performed Freestyle’s “Sweet” (is it ayt?) but, it’s time for their first guest to say goodbye. Juris sang “Too Many Walls”, followed by “I’ll Never Get over you” grabe pag kinanta na nya ang ganda talaga. Next song is an OPM song, Juris says, theme song daw ng buhay nya! People wondered what song it is, yun pala it was a classic OPM song “Nakapagtataka” After that heartbreaking number, Juris change her outfit while Chin played on his guitar, intro of “Why” played, Juris appeared with her cute outfit and sang the song. It was followed by “Hand in my pocket”,”Don’t Speak”, “Ironic”, “Ought a Know”, “The Reason” (Chin on vocal) and Complicated. Galing ng production number na yon. After that, a music video was played “Music of Goodbye” a classic foreign song, sang by juris. (Change outfit at pahinga muna yung dalawa…) After that lumabas c juris wearing an 80’s outfit from the audience sa may patron. She sang Madonna’s hits such as “Borderline”, “Cherish”, and “Material Girl”. After that groovy number, she says, the next song is her personal favourite… “Crazy for you”, this makes people shout and scream! Pati ako kahit I’m crazy for… nothing! Hehe! After that pasok agad sa loob si juris after 30 seconds ata bumalik at naka Gown ang lola mo! She sang “Inseparable” after the number rest muna cya. Janno Gibbs came out and sang “Fallin” after that nagkulitan muna sila nila Juris at Chin they did the “Balakubak Portion”! yun yung nakakatawang part. After that, Janno and Juris sang “If I’m not in Love”. Again it’s time for janno to say goodbye. This time Juris was very emotional, she sang “Celine Dion’s Because You Loved Me” dedicated to her mom, family, friends and people who support them, she was crying while singing, she hugged her mom…it was a very touching part; it was her dream come true daw. After that emotional number she sang the songs from their versions album, “Talaga Naman” (cute!), “Constantly” (kind’ a relate! hmmmm), “No Ordinary Love” (I can relate before… hmMmm, lalo na yung line na: “This is not your Ordinary, No Ordinary Love, I was not prepared enough to fall so deep in love…This is not your ordinary no ordinary love, You are the first who touched my heart makes everything right again with your extra ordinary love…haaaay), “Beauty and Madness” (Chin on vocals), “Love Moves”(I hope, Love Moves for me in mysterious ways! :-P hahaha), “Tell Me where It hurts” (I want to sing this song for someone…sakin na lng yun! hope that someone will sing this song for me too…) and “Especially For you” (someday, someday...We’re going to sing this song …asaaa!)”grabe wala ako ma say sa portion na yan! Panalo talaga! Then, Juris explain that Christmas is fast approaching so she serenade us with a very touching and emotive Christmas ballad entitled “Merry Christmas” (one of my favourite Christmas Song) So tama na senti, she did fast number like Break Out (not sure for the title), Star, and the finale “Every Little Thing”. Haaaay the concert is over but that was a blast! It’s almost past 12MN late kase nag start eh, Grabe galing I’m looking forward to watch them again live. Congrat's MYMP Band!

    great blog. can't find this concert on YT although i saw them twice on gigs before. hoping for juris' solo concert at araneta :))
